Mobikwik posts flat scale in Q4 FY25; bleeds heavily Fintech platform MobiKwik reported its quarterly results for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year (Q4 FY25) on Tuesday, showing a flat year-on-year growth. MobiKwik’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 268 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 265 crore in Q4 FY24, its consolidated financial statements accessed from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) show. However, Mobikwik's earnings for the full fiscal year grew 33.9% to Rs 1,192 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 890 crore in FY24. Commissions on recharges, processing, and interest on servicing loans, payment gateways, and technology platforms were the primary revenue sources for MobiKwik in Q4 FY25. However, the company did not provide an income breakdown in its quarterly report. According to the press release, MobiKwik's registered user base has grown to 176.5 million with 4.4 million new merchants. The company’s payment of GMV has also surged 2.3X year-on-year to Rs 331 billion. On the cost side, expenditures on the payment gateway were the largest cost center, accounting for 45% of the overall cost, which stood at Rs 147 crore in Q4 FY25. The cost of employee benefits and lending fees was recorded at Rs 43 crore and Rs 41 crore, respectively. Its financial guarantee, legal, advertising, finance, and other overheads took its total expenditure to Rs 324 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 266 crore in Q4 FY24. For instance, the Gurugram-based company posted a net profit of Rs 14 crore for the previous fiscal (FY24). In the end, Mobikwik reported a net loss of Rs 56 crore in Q4FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 60 lakhs in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. During the full fiscal year, its bottom line was negative at Rs 121.5 crore. Mobikwik made its debut on the stock exchange last December 24 with an impressive 59% premium on its issue price on the first day of its listing. The company is currently trading at Rs 273.7 with a total market capitalization of Rs 2,126 crore or approximately $250 million.

E-sports accounted for 41.5% (Rs 216 crore) of the company’s total operating revenue, while the gaming segment held a 30% share (Rs 156 crore), followed by ad tech, which contributed 28% (Rs 148 crore). Nazara also earned Rs 18 crore from interest and gains on financial assets during the quarter, bringing its overall revenue to Rs 539 crore. However, the company posted a 40.8% YoY increase in its total income to Rs 1,715 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 1,218 crore in FY24. On the line of scale, Nazara’s total expenses surged by 85.3% to Rs 528 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 285 crore in the same quarter last year. Content and commission costs together stood at Rs 186 crore, while employee benefit expenses rose to Rs 80 crore. Notably, marketing expenses saw a sharp 3.5X jump, reaching Rs 151 crore in Q4 FY25. Despite a 95% year-on-year revenue growth in Q4, the company’s profit remained flat at Rs 4 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year, its net profit declined to Rs 51 crore in FY25 from Rs 74.7 crore in FY24. Last week, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) also approved the acquisition of a majority stake and control over Nazara Technologies Limited by Axana Estates LLP, Plutus Wealth Management LLP, and Junomoneta Finsol Private Limited. Nazara is currently trading at Rs 1,270 (as of 03.41 PM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 11,127 crore (approximately $1.3 billion).

The cost of IoT devices, employee benefits, and outsourced technical services were the major cost elements, pushing the total cost of the firm to Rs 90 crore in Q4 FY25, up from Rs 72 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, the total cost increased to Rs 306 crore in FY25. With the increase in scale, MapMyIndia recorded a 29% increase in its profit to Rs 49 crore during Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 38 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year. Meanwhile, annual profit increased by 10% to Rs 148 crore in FY25, up from Rs 134 crore in FY24. At the end of the day on 9th May 2025, MapMyIndia closed at Rs 1,845 per share, with a market capitalization of Rs 10,040 crore ($1.17 billion).

For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses fell to Rs 371 crore as compared to Rs 483 crore in FY24. Blackbuck booked profit before tax of Rs 41 crore in Q4 FY25, as compared to a loss of Rs 87 crore in Q4 FY24. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year ended March 2025, the company remained at a loss of Rs 283 crore (before tax), 69% more than Rs 167 crore in FY24. The segment's gross order value (GOV) growth was driven by an increase in order frequency and the addition of new dark stores. Scootsy Logistics contributed a major 45% of Swiggy’s overall operating collection. Income from this entity increased by 58% YoY to Rs 2,004 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1,265 crore in Q4 FY24. During the last quarter, Swiggy invested Rs 1,000 crore in Scootsy to support expansion and growth. Swiggy’s Dine Out, Genie, Swiggy Mini, and other non-operating income took its total revenue to Rs 4,531 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year ending March 2025, Swiggy’s revenue rose 35% to Rs 15,227 crore in FY25 from Rs 11,247 crore in FY24. On the cost side, the procurement of FMCG products for supply chain distribution formed 33% of its overall cost which increased by 52% to Rs 1,854 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, the delivery charges saw 27% growth to Rs 1,161 crore in Q4 FY25. Swiggy spent Rs 695 crore and Rs 978 crore on employee benefits and advertising, respectively. Overall, Swiggy’s total expenses for the quarter increased 53% to Rs 5,609 crore from Rs 3,668 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal-on-fiscal year basis, its total expenses increased to Rs 18,725 crore in the quarter ending March 2025 from Rs 13,947 crore in FY24. The 53% growth in expenditure led losses to increase by 95% to Rs 1,081 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 555 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal-on-fiscal basis, Swiggy’s losses spiked 33% to Rs 3,117 crore in FY25 from Rs 2,350 crore in FY24.

Meanwhile, there was a 35% increase in the e-commerce platform business, which rose to Rs 62 crore. The Ahmedabad-based firm recorded a total revenue of 1,180 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year (FY25), its total income stood at Rs 4,066 crore. Infibeam operates a diversified digital platform, with a primary focus on digital payments and e-commerce solutions. On the cost side, the company’s total expenses rose by 66% to Rs 1,104 crore in Q4 FY25. For the digital payment firm, its payment processing was the largest cost center, rising by 68% to Rs 1,025 crore. Employee benefits increased by 30% to Rs 39 crore, while depreciation cost grew 6% to Rs 18 crore. Infibeam Avenues also incurred Rs 22 crore on other undisclosed expenses in the said quarter. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses increased to Rs 3,768 crore. In the end, the company reported profit after tax of Rs 55 crore in Q4 FY25, 20% up from Rs 46 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal year basis, its profit increased to Rs 236 crore in FY25 from Rs 156 crore in FY24. At 15:31 PM today, its market cap stood at Rs 5,579 crore while the firm’s stock was trading at Rs 20.

For the full fiscal year ending March 2025, the total expenses rose to Rs 460 crore. EaseMyTrip booked profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 12 crore in Q4 FY25 as compared to a loss of Rs 17 crore in Q4 FY24. During FY25, the firm’s profit before tax stood at Rs 143 crore in FY25 from Rs 142 crore in FY24. EaseMyTrip closed the last trading session at Rs 11.28, with a 0.71% increase in its share price. The company’s total market capitalization stood at Rs 3,997 crore.

Fintech firm Infibeam Avenues on Friday released its financial results for the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q1 FY25). The company witnessed a 3.6% increase in gross revenue whereas its profit spiked 43% growth during the quarter ending June 2025. Infibeam Avenues’s gross revenue grew to Rs 753 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 727 crore in Q4 FY24, according to the company’s unaudited consolidated quarterly report filed with the National Stock Exchange. The payment business formed 93.6% of the total revenue which stood at Rs 705 crore in Q1 FY25 while the income from providing customized e-commerce solutions brought Rs 39.3 crore to its coffers. Infibeam claims to have over 10 million merchants, with an average daily addition of more than 2,550 merchants in Q1 FY25. At the end, its other operating and financial income pushed Infibeam Avenues’ overall revenue to Rs 781 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 743 crore in Q4 FY24. On the cost front, the operating expenses (including payment processing cost) formed 90% of the overall expenditure. This cost remained flat at Rs 634 crore in Q1 FY25. The firm’s spending on employee benefits, legal, and other overheads took its overall cost up by 3.5% to Rs 703 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 679 crore in Q4 FY24. The increase in other income and consistent growth in scale helped Infibeam to register a 42.9% spike in its profits to Rs 70 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 49 crore in Q4 FY24. On a unit level, The Ahmedabad-based company spent Rs 0.93 to earn rupee in Q1 FY25. The company also acquired a majority stake (54%) in Rediff.com. The acquired company will become a subsidiary of Infibeam Avenue. “With this synergy, we are poised to unlock new dimensions of growth, redefining the essence of cloud and fintech engagement,” said Vishal Mehta, Chairman and MD of Infibeam Avenues. Infibeam Avenue is currently trading at Rs 32.42 (as of 03.00 PM) and its total market capitalization stood at Rs 9,019 crore or $1.1 billion.

For the full fiscal year (FY25), BrainBees’s operating revenue increased 18% to Rs 7,660 crore in FY25 from Rs 6,481 crore in FY24. The sale of its products through offline stores and websites in India and the international market was the primary source of revenue, accounting for 69% of total operating revenue, while its subsidiary, GlobalBees, contributed Rs 398 crore income for Q4 FY25. The company also made Rs 48 crore from interest income which took its overall revenue to Rs 1,979 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,685 crore in Q4 FY24. For the omnichannel retailer, the cost of procurement of materials accounted for 58% of the overall expenditure which increased 14% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 1,206 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1055 crore in Q4 FY24. FirstCry employee benefits stood at Rs 229 crore in Q4 FY25 which includes Rs 82 crore as ESOP cost. Marketing, legal, rent, and technology expenses were key overheads that drove total expenditure up to Rs 2,060 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,737 crore in the same quarter last year. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the company’s total expenses rose to Rs 7,992 crore. BrainBees’ loss surged by 74% to Rs 75 crore in Q4 FY25. For FY25, the firm losses stood at 215 crore in FY25, down from Rs 321 crore in FY24. (We have excluded exceptional items amounting to Rs 37 crore from the loss calculation.) BrainBees debuted on the stock exchange at Rs 446 and is now trading at 376.5 on May 26, bringing its total market capitalization to Rs 19,631 crore.
