Mirror Security has raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round from Sure Valley Ventures (SVV) and Atlantic Bridge. The funds will be used to expand its engineering and AI security teams across Ireland, the US, and India, accelerate product development in encrypted inferencing and secure fine-tuning, and support its push into the US enterprise market. Founded in 2024 by Pankaj Thapa and Aditya Narayana K, Mirror Security is a cybersecurity firm focused on GenAI-native security and encrypted data protection, operating in Ireland, the US, and India. Their integrated “Security of AI” platform includes AgentIQ for comprehensive agentic security, DiscoveR for automated AI system testing, and VectaX, a Fully Homomorphic Encryption engine. Mirror Security aims to solve enterprise AI adoption challenges by ensuring data confidentiality during model training and inference. Through VectaX, AI systems can process sensitive data without exposing it. The company also has a strategic agreement with Inception AI, deploying its AI security suite across Inception’s ecosystem, alongside partnerships with Intel, MongoDB, Qdrant, SiSys AI, and Accops.

Proptech startup Flent raises $2.5 Mn in pre-Series A round Bengaluru-based proptech startup Flent has raised Rs 21 crore (about $2.5 million) in a Pre-Series A round, including Rs 17 crore in equity and Rs 4 crore in debt. The round was led by Incubate Fund Asia, with participation from WEH Ventures, Twin & Bull Family Office, Stride Ventures, 91Ventures, Untitled VC, and a group of angel investors, including BlackBuck co-founder Rajesh Yabaji. In addition, over 40 landlords and tenants using Flent’s platform collectively invested Rs 1 crore as part of the round. The proceeds will be used to expand beyond Bengaluru, with Mumbai and Gurugram identified as the next markets. Flent also plans to roll out new offerings across the rental journey, including flatmate discovery, vacancy protection for landlords, and AI-led location and budget discovery tools. Founded in October 2023 by Mayank Lalwani, Rishabh Agnihotri, and Shail Daswani, Flent operates a full-stack rental platform offering fully furnished, move-in-ready homes with flexible lease terms. It manages the entire lifecycle, design, onboarding, tenant screening, maintenance, and rent assurance while removing brokerage and large security deposits. Flent currently manages 350 rooms across 140 premium homes in Bengaluru, with reported occupancy levels of 90–95%. The average customer stay is around 14 months, according to the company. On the supply side, the brand is targeting high-value residential properties, particularly those owned by investors and NRIs, where professional property management remains fragmented.

Cloud security platform Arch0 has raised $1.25 million in its pre-seed round led by Leo Capital. The round also saw participation from Village Global, Indian Silicon Valley Capital, Appreciate Capital, SuperMorpheus, and notable angel investors. The proceeds will be used for onboarding talent for its core team. Additionally, a substantial portion of the funds will be deployed towards advancing the use of AI in cloud security. Arch0 also plans on strengthening its marketing and educational initiatives to educate users about the nuances of cloud security, the role of AI, and best practices for safeguarding digital assets. Founded in late 2022 by Nithin Jois and Tilak Thimmappa, Arch0 centralises identity as the foundational element of cloud security, embedding proactive and automated security measures across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Arch0’s solution goes over and above a ‘code-to-cloud’ strategy, operating autonomously and furnishing comprehensive insights into every security incident. This ensures swift, effective remediation, empowering businesses to elevate their cloud security, enhancing resilience and compliance. The startup strives to introduce enterprise-grade security to medium-sized enterprises (MSEs) managing sensitive data and navigating stringent regulations. For the longer term, it also plans to rapidly evolve its offerings to address the complex security challenges faced by larger enterprises.
