Material Depot raises $10 Mn led by Accel and Stellaris Venture Partners Interior design and home decor startup Material Depot has raised $10 million in a funding round co-led by Accel and Stellaris Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from Whiteboard Capital, DeVC, Soma Capital, and MyAsiaVC, along with a group of angel investors. The proceeds will be allocated to strengthen its technology stack across supply chain management, inventory planning, and assisted in-store selling. The startup will also expand its product portfolio and collections, and scale its offline presence across cities. Co-founded in 2021 by Sarthak Agrawal and Manish Reddy, Material Depot is a digital-first, one-stop shop for construction, interior design, and home decor materials. The platform offers curated collections, 3D visualisation, and direct-from-manufacturer sourcing for designers and homeowners. Material Depot follows an omnichannel model, allowing customers to discover products online and then visit physical experience centres to touch, feel, and compare materials before purchasing. The company currently operates three experience centres in Bengaluru and plans to expand to more than 30 across multiple cities over the next 12–18 months.

Proptech startup Truva has raised over $6.32 million from existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and Orios Venture Partners. Truva’s board has issued 54,628 Series A Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) at an issue price of Rs 10,383 per share to raise a total of Rs 56.72 crore, according to its regulatory filing with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Stellaris Venture Partners led the round with an investment of Rs 30.5 crore, followed by Orios Venture Partners, which infused Rs 26.22 crore. The fresh funds will be utilised for working capital requirements and business expansion of the company, as per the RoC filing. According to Entrackr’s estimates, Truva is valued at around Rs 284 crore ($31.60 million) on a post-money basis. Founded in 2023 by Puneet Arora, Monil Singhal and Ankit Gupta, Truva provides detailed property listings with extensive insights and support for buyers, including help with financing, paperwork, and registration. The startup also offers features such as natural light scores, noise ratings, 3D tours, and high-quality photos and videos. After the fresh allotment, Stellaris Venture Partners holds a 24.53% stake in Truva, while Orios Venture Partners owns 9.24%, respectively. The co-founders, Puneet Arora, Monil Singhal and Ankit Gupta collectively hold 54.87% stake in the company, with 18.29% each. Before this, the company had raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by early-stage venture capital firm Stellaris Venture Partners. For the year ended March 2024, Truva generated Rs 10.88 lakh in operating revenue and reported a loss of Rs 10.30 lakh, reflecting its early-stage, pre-revenue operations. The company is yet to file its financial statements for FY25.

Fashion brand Outzidr raises $3.1 Mn led by RTP Global Co-founded in 2024 by Nirmal Jain, Mani Kant Mani, and Justin Mario, Outzidr is a digital-first fashion brand offering on-trend western wear for Indian women aged 18–28. The Bengaluru-based startup has raised Rs 27 crore (around $3.1 million) in a pre-Series A round led by RTP Global along with participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners. Outzidr, a fashion brand built for Gen Z women, had previously raised Rs 30 crore (around $3.5 million) in a seed round led by Stellaris Venture Partners. The proceeds will be utilized for the next phase of growth, including the launch of its first exclusive offline store by March 2026 and expansion of its design, operations, and technology teams. Outzidr launches up to 2,000 new styles every month, or 500 every week, through its own D2C platform and leading marketplaces like Ajio, Myntra, and Nykaa Fashion. “Outzidr represents the energy of a new generation — fast-paced, fresh, and fearless,” said Nirmal Jain, Co-founder and CEO of Outzidr. “We’re building a brand that listens, learns, and reacts in real time. This fundraiser is a strong validation of our mission to become the everyday fashion choice for Gen Z women — and of the incredible team and opportunity we’re building for.” According to market research, India’s fast fashion market is currently valued at around $10 billion and is projected to surge to over $50 billion by FY 31, growing at a ~30% CAGR. In just five months, the brand claims to have gained more than 100,000 customers. It primarily competes with other notable players in this space such as NEWME, Zudio, and Style Union.

Exclusive: Propelld to raise $30 Mn from WestBridge and Stellaris Propelld, an education-focused lending platform, is set to secure Rs 260 crore (around $30.5 million) in its Series D round led by WestBridge Capital with the participation of Stellaris Venture Partners. Propelld’s board passed a special resolution to allot 20,732 Series D compulsory convertible preference shares (CCPS) at an issue price of Rs 1,25,408 each to raise the aforementioned sum, its regulatory filing accessed from the Registrar of Companies (RoC) shows. Westbridge Capital will invest Rs 240 crore ($28 million) via Setu AIF Trust, Konark Trust, and MMPL Trust while Stellaris Venture Partners will contribute Rs 20 crore. The investment will be utilized to meet the company’s working capital needs and capital expenditure for business expansion, the filing added. According to Entrackr’s estimates, the company is valued at around Rs 860 crore or $101 million post-allotment. Founded in 2019 by Bibhu Prasad Das, Victor Senapaty, and Brijesh Samantaray, Propelld provides education loan financing through 'Study Now, Pay Later' products and Income Sharing Agreements (ISA) via its NBFC arm. The company also offers collateral-free education financing options. Following the latest fundraise, WestBridge will hold a 46.9% stake in the company while Stellaris Venture Partners will hold a 15.69% stake. Propelld competes with other education loans-focused fintech startups like Leap Finance and Grayquest.
