Google's new eSIM transfer protocol hits THIS market

The feature has been successfully utilized by users of Pixel 8 and the latest Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, with compatibility initially observed with T-Mobile eSIMs. This development could potentially lead to broader carrier support in the future. Samsung had previously introduced an eSIM transfer tool for Galaxy devices, and it is expected to extend to non-Galaxy smartphones with the release of One UI 6.1.

Dutch data protection watchdog hits Uber with $324 million fine over driver data
