A European non-profit organization called Hintco, a unit of H2Global, has offered to address the problem faced by Indian manufacturers of green hydrogen - the lack of long-term buyers. The Indian green hydrogen industry has the necessary technology and investment but the absence of contracts is holding them back. Hintco suggested acting as an intermediary by signing long-term agreements with Indian manufacturers and short-term agreements with European companies, while funding the viability gap jointly with the concerned governments. The Indian government officials are open to discussing this solution, but no agreement has been reached yet.
