The brand competes with brands such as BigBasket, Grofers, Spencer's Retail, Nature’s Basket, and DMart Ready, which offer fresh produce and everyday essentials through online and offline channels.

In less than five months, Mithila Foods claims to have scaled rapidly, crossing Rs 3 crore in annualised revenue, launching over 20 SKUs, and serving more than 25,000 customers across 4,000 pin codes. According to the company, starting from a warehouse in Dumka, the brand has expanded its presence across the country, serving both migrant communities and urban buyers. Its distribution includes e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart, along with offline retail in tier I and tier II cities. AJVC follows a standard investment strategy of providing Rs 1.5 crore in funding for a 9% equity stake in startups.
