Easy Trip Planners partners with Ministry of Rural Development to empower self help groups

Easy Trip Planner Ltd.'s online travel platform, EaseMyTrip.com, has entered into a partnership with India's Ministry of Rural Development to train women belonging to Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission's Women's Self Help Groups (SHGs). The initiative, known as Lakhpati Didi Yojana, aims to empower rural women by providing them with skill development and entrepreneurial training. EaseMyTrip will offer training to one member per SHG in 800 districts across India, covering various travel reservation segments. The partnership also includes revenue-sharing from bookings made by the SHG members for promoting financial independence.
