The funding round saw participation from a roster of investors, including Sudhakar Pai, (MD, Kurlon Industries), Jyothi Pradhan (CEO – Kurlon) Family Office, Agre Global FZE, Growth 91/Growth Sense, IVY Growth, Serious One Capital. The proceeds will be used to optimize its supply chain, reducing delivery times and costs, while also investing in data analytics to better understand and serve its customers, EleFant said in a press release. Founded by Sourabh Jain, EleFant offers an extensive selection of toys and books for children aged 0-12 years, sourced from over 70 top brands with over 600 options. In a feat, the EleFant has garnered over 13,000 registered users and 1000 fully paid subscribers in less than 10 months since its launch. The platform also empowers home-based women entrepreneurs through its innovative Librarian Model. Currently with over 52 Librarian centers across India, these librarians manage toy inventory and facilitate exchanges within their communities, earning a fixed income while promoting sustainable play and becoming brand ambassadors.

Cornerstone Ventures, a SaaS-focused venture capital, has successfully exited Intelligence Node, a retail analytics and AI platform. The exit was achieved through a $100 million (Rs 849.5 crore) acquisition by global advertising giant Interpublic Group (IPG). The exit follows Intelligence Node’s acquisition by global advertising powerhouse Interpublic Group (IPG). This marks the second exit for Cornerstone Ventures Fund I (after Wigzo Technologies was acquired by logistics unicorn Shiprocket in 2021). With just two exits, the fund claims to have returned around 20% of the corpus raised and has several of the remaining 19 portfolio companies coming up for liquidity events in the near term. According to Cornerstone Ventures’ managing partner Abhishek Prasad, the fund expects to return around 100% of the corpus over the next 18-24 months, and overall deliver a 3.5-4X multiple through its lifetime (another 5 years to go). Founded in 2012, Intelligence Node has AI-driven solutions that empower businesses to optimize their digital shelf presence and pricing strategies. Cornerstone Ventures’ portfolio includes notable players in the Service SaaS space, such as ManageArtWorks, THB, EnParadigm, WatchYourHealth and Credit Nirvana, as well as SaaS + Marketplace models like Blubirch, Credilio, and Mystifly.

The proceeds will be used to establish an in-house manufacturing and advanced testing facility in Pune, accelerate R&D across electromagnetic actuation, and build the core engineering and operations team required for commercial rollout, Quintrans said in a press release. Co-founded in 2021 by Pranay Luniya, Kartik Kulkarni, Aniruddha Atigre, and Prasanna Kadambi, Quintrans is a deep tech engineering company developing direct-drive electromagnetic linear motion systems for industrial applications. Its technology enables frictionless, high-speed, and ultra-precise motion for robotics, warehouse automation, and manufacturing environments. As per market research, India manufactured and sold roughly 6.8 million actuators in FY 2022, a figure expected to cross 10–11 million units by FY 2026, driven by automotive, industrial automation, HVAC, and marine applications. According to the Pune-based startup, its design and manufacturing model unlocks cost efficiency, tailored deployments, and assured service. They take an engineering-first approach, developing the hardware and control electronics in-house so customers get a complete, integrated solution. Quintrans is part of MaXcel, the hardware and industrial technology accelerator run by Capital-A and SanchiConnect, supporting startups building engineering-led manufacturing solutions.
