Launched in September 2024, Ammunic Systems is a defence R&D firm focused on the design and development of weapon systems with core competence in advanced electronic fuzes, warheads, and munition integration technologies. The startup aspires to become a next-generation defence and aerospace innovator. The Bengaluru-based startup aims to empower defense with precision and safety and to pioneer tomorrow's warheads for global security. It is committed to providing services that exceed client expectations and help them achieve their business goals. It focuses on research, design, development, and production of new generation weapon systems for current and future warfare. Priyanka Singhal, founder of Ammunic Systems, said, “This investment from India Accelerator is not just capital; it is a vote of confidence in a mission we have poured our hearts into. At Ammunic Systems, we are not just building defence technologies; we are building belief — that India can lead from the front in securing its own future." India Accelerator and Finvolve boast a strong portfolio of defence tech companies including IG Drones, Indrajaal, Zulu Defence, and others.

Pravega Ventures leads $3 Mn pre-Series A round in Constelli Aerospace and defence tech startup Constelli has raised $3 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Pravega Ventures. This is the company's first institutional funding round. The proceeds will be deployed towards capital expenditure and research and development (R&D) of new products, Constelli said in a press release. Co-founded in 2017 by Satya Gopal Panigrahi and Avinash Chenreddy, Constelli specializes in developing advanced signal processing solutions and tools that enhance the design, development, and testing of critical aerospace and defence systems. According to the Hyderabad-based company, it leverages modern technologies and advancements in hardware and software, modeling and simulation, and distributed computing to achieve transformation. The company focuses on enhancing technical sophistication and expediting the development lifecycle of payloads for airborne and ground defence platforms. Constelli says that its products and services are used globally by organizations developing radar and electronic warfare (EW) systems. The company claims that it serves India's Ministry of Defence, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and defence contractors in South Korea, Australia, and Singapore. The other notable players in this space are NewSpace Research & Technologies, IdeaForge, Garuda Aerospace, and others.

Dodo Payments raises $1.1 Mn in pre-seed round Fintech startup Dodo Payments has raised $1.1 million in its pre-seed round led by Antler, 9Unicorns, and Venture Catalysts. Nitin Gupta (Uni Cards and PayU), Maninder Gulati (former Oyo CSO/Lightspeed), Raymond Russell (former Chief of Staff at Boom Supersonic), Preethi Kasireddy (former Partner, a16z), and Nishant Verman (former Flipkart CorpDev head) have also participated. The proceeds will be used for several strategic initiatives, including enhancing the technological infrastructure by introducing modules for subscriptions, billing, fraud detection, and risk management. Additionally, Dodo Payments plans to establish local payment rails in over 30 countries, focusing on regions such as the European Union, United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Brazil, and Australia. Founded in 2023 by Rishabh Goel and Ayush Agarwal, Dodo Payments simplifies complexities, enabling merchants to easily accept payments from over 150 countries with success rates exceeding 90%. The platform supports over 25 local payment methods, including Apple Pay, Klarna, Affirm, Cash App, UPI, and all major card networks, and is available in 14 languages, covering 86% of the global population. In its initial phase, Dodo Payments claims to have onboarded over 1,000 merchants across 30 countries and aims to expand this to more than 10,000 merchants globally by the end of the year.

Snippets Space-tech startup Omspace raises $3 Mn in pre-seed round Omspace Rocket and Exploration, an Indian space-tech startup incubated at CrAdLE (Centre for Advancing & Launching Enterprises), has raised $3 million in a pre-seed funding round from a Family Office and an Angel Investor. The proceeds will be utilized to finalize and begin test launches of the Infinity One prototype, expand its research & development team, and hire specialized talent to strengthen manufacturing infrastructure and ground systems, Omspace said in a press release. Co-founded in 2020 by Ravindra Raj Binod Mistri, Maulik Mota, and Stutika Padamshali, Omspace's flagship innovation, Infinity One, aims to deliver payloads of approximately 350 kg to altitudes of up to 800 km. With an emphasis on fuel efficiency and cost-effectiveness, the launch system seeks to offer a reliable launch solution for India’s growing space-tech sector. The Ahmedabad-based startup plans to improve access to space by developing reusable launch vehicles for small and nano satellites. It seeks to make space exploration more accessible for emerging markets. “This funding is a major milestone in our mission to democratize access to space from India. We are deeply thankful to CrAdLE and EDII for believing in our vision and enabling us with the resources, mentorship, and environment to take bold leaps,” said Mistry. Omspace claims that it has recently expanded its international presence through its UAE branch, OSRE FZC, with a first commercial launch planned for January 2028.
