Skincare brand Conscious Chemist has raised Rs 15 crore (about $1.8 million) in a bridge round led by Atomic Capital. The round also saw participation from First Port Capital and IPV International. In February 2024, Conscious Chemist had raised Rs 1 crore in debt capital from Recur Club. The company was also featured in Shark Tank India Season - III but did not get any funding from there. The proceeds will be used to strengthen its leadership team, scale inventory and marketing operations, and invest in product innovation and research. It is also preparing to expand into new categories including scalp and hair care. Founded in 2021 by Robin Gupta and Prakher Mathur, Conscious Chemist operates in the active-first skincare segment with a portfolio of more than 30 products across acne care, sunscreens, cleansers and serums. The brand focuses on science-backed formulations using ingredients such as salicylic acid, peptides, ceramides, and retinol. Over the last 12 months, Conscious Chemist claims to have reported 3x revenue growth and has turned profitable at the CM3 level. The brand claims 75% gross margins and a customer base of over 2.5 million users, with a retention rate nearly twice the industry average. Quick-commerce channels including Blinkit, Instamart and Zepto have contributed to a three-fold growth in sales. The startup is now targeting an ARR of Rs 500 crore over the next 24–36 months while maintaining profitability.

Founded in 2021 by Shubhika, Suramya and Sangeeta Jain, RAS Luxury Skincare operates a vertically integrated model spanning the cultivation of botanicals on family-owned farms, in-house R&D, and small-batch manufacturing. The company offers products such as face elixirs, serums and moisturisers, formulated with essential oils and plant-based actives. RAS Luxury Skincare plans to invest in brand-building and marketing initiatives to deepen consumer engagement in the premium luxury segment. It also plans to expand its team across key functions, including product development, marketing and operations, to support its next phase of growth. RAS claims to have demonstrated strong growth momentum, with a three-year revenue CAGR of approximately 75%, an ARR of about Rs 100 crore, and high gross margins. The company has a consumer base exceeding 5,00,000 unique customers and a strong multi-channel presence spanning its D2C platform, e-commerce and quick commerce marketplaces, and premium offline retail.
