D2C Insider, a D2C community with over 10,000 founders as members, has launched the Super Angels Fund—an operator fund tailored for the new-age consumer space. Recently, the firm launched the third cohort of its flagship Elevate Program. The program offers a structured 12-week hybrid boot camp, with guidance from over 25 industry leaders like Aditya Sharma (The Souled Store), Karthik Reddy (Blume Ventures), and Gaurav Khatri (Noise) among others, The fund is backed by over 50 D2C founders, including industry stalwarts like Aneesh Seth (Dr. Seth’s), Vedang Patel (Souled Store), Soumya Kant (Clovia), Kunal Bahl (Snapdeal), and Vivek Biyani (Broadway). With a corpus of Rs 25 crore, the Super Angels fund is set to empower innovative pre-seed/seed stage D2C startups by providing them with capital invaluable mentorship, and strategic guidance from experienced operators. The fund plans to deploy the corpus across 20-25 early-stage startups in the pre-seed/seed stages, with average cheque sizes of Rs 1 crore, by partnering and co-investing with other leading funds via its vast community networks. D2C Insider, a community for direct-to-consumer (D2C) startups, held its first Super Angels Founders Day at UrbanWrk, Gurugram. The event brought together founders of portfolio companies, investors from the Super Angels Fund, and others from the D2C ecosystem. The event focused on the progress of Super Angels Fund I, a Rs 25 crore fund launched in the previous year. Founders from companies such as Assembly, Basil, Business on Bot, Crest, Divine Hindu, Futwork, GoOat, Pikndel, Snackible, Samosa Party, Solved Skin, and Steam Pro shared business updates and engaged with their early-stage investors. Among the investors who attended were Rohit Bansal (Snapdeal), Hitesh Dhingra (The Man Company), Sumit Baid (KeraGain), Atul Bhakta (One World Group), Mohit Garg (Assembly), along with others. A session titled “The Operator Capital Revolution” featured Rohit Bansal and Hitesh Dhingra in conversation with Abhishek Shah of D2C Insider. They discussed communication between founders and investors and the role of experienced founders in supporting newer ones. Another discussion, “From Guts to Graphs,” brought together both investors and founders to examine startup evaluation and the fundraising experience from both perspectives. D2C Insider provides funding and support to early-stage D2C startups and has a network of over 10,000 founders. The Super Angels Fund, introduced in October last year, focuses on investments in consumer-focused startups.

Recur Club launches Rs 150 Cr fund for D2C brands on QCP Recur Club, a debt marketplace for startups and SMEs, has launched a Rs 150 crore ($18 million) fund to accelerate the growth of D2C brands in the quick commerce sector. This initiative aims to provide growth and working capital for these brands to acquire additional inventory or boost marketing efforts. The fund targets loan disbursal within seven days. Recur Club’s debt offerings are designed to meet the unique financial needs of businesses across various revenue and profitability stages. The Indian quick commerce market is expected to expand at a CAGR of over 25% leading up to 2030, and the D2C sector is anticipated to exceed $60 billion by 2027. Recur Club says that this new fund aligns with its aim to fuel the growth of ‘Make-in-India’ startups, particularly in the quick commerce segment of the D2C market. Some notable brands that have benefited from its funding include Ustraa and Wellversed. “With more than half of the 300 consumer brands we've financed utilizing quick commerce platforms, it's clear that these businesses are primarily investing in scaling inventory to keep pace with consumer demand and employing strategic marketing efforts,” said Eklavya Gupta, CEO & co-founder of Recur Club. Recur Club offers loans to startups and businesses, ranging from Rs 50 lakhs to Rs 100 crore within 48 hours by linking their financial data. In collaboration with InCred, it has deployed Rs 300 crore in funding aimed at supporting early and mid-stage startups. Recur Club has committed to deploying Rs 2,000 crore in debt funding for startups and SMEs through Recur Scale and Rs 1,000 crore to MSMEs through Recur Swift in this financial year. As part of this initiative, the company has launched its "Recur Scale" facility, which offers up to Rs 100 crore in funding for individual startups or SMEs. Over the last three years, Recur Club has disbursed over Rs 500 crore to D2C businesses, comprising 30% of its overall portfolio and spanning companies with revenues ranging from ₹1 crore to Rs 300 crore. It is backed by institutional investors like InfoEdge Ventures, Village Global, LC Nueva, and Titan Capital.
