Construction-tech startup HandyPanda has raised Rs 2 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by early-stage venture capital firm AJVC, with participation from angel investors including Sankalp Kathuria (Co-Founder & CEO, Broadway) and building materials family office heads. The proceeds from the round will be used to build teams and strengthen systems across product, operations, and supply. HandyPanda is focused on reimagining the consumer experience for building materials by addressing challenges such as delays caused by fragmented supply chains, limited price transparency, and concerns around product authenticity. Founded by three IIT Delhi batchmates Abhishek Rao, Shaurya Goel, and Shaurya Jindal, the startup believes India’s home renovation and construction market is at an inflection point, driven by evolving consumer expectations and a rapidly organizing supplier ecosystem. According to its website, HandyPanda lists construction and renovation materials across categories such as electricals, bathware & plumbing, hardware, and paints with products sourced from manufacturers or authorized dealers. HandyPanda launched operations in September 2025 and is close to achieving Rs 1 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR), measured on a GMV basis. AJVC is a SEBI-registered pre-seed venture capital fund and has backed multiple early-stage startups across consumer, fintech, enterprise, and manufacturing-focused segments. Its portfolio includes companies such as Multibagg AI, Nuyug, Mithila Foods, Jaagruk Bharat, TruFides AI, Chop Finance, Gaadi Mech, and Iztri.

The Hyderabad-based company had earlier raised $1.86 million from Anthill Ventures and other investors. The fresh capital will be used to expand operations to new cities, including Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Surat, and Chandigarh, by the end of this year, WeHouse said in a press release. Founded in 2017 by Sripad Nandiraj and Rohan Vinayak Reddy, WeHouse is a prop-tech startup that provides tech-led solutions for home construction and reconstruction. It operates as an aggregator platform, bringing together all stakeholders in the construction process—architects, contractors, material suppliers, engineers, and skilled labour. Its services cover the entire construction journey, from approvals and design (architectural and structural) to project execution and interiors. The company also offers a tech-driven monitoring system that provides clients with real-time visibility into their projects. According to market research, India’s residential construction market is projected to reach $373 billion by 2030. At present, WeHouse operates in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Vijayawada. The company claims to have executed more than 400 projects, delivered 250, and currently has an order book worth Rs 150 crore. Its revenue model includes charging customers on a per sq. ft. basis (with commissions varying by city), selling materials to contractors, and providing on-demand interior design services. WeHouse competes with players such as Brick&Bolt, which is active in both residential and commercial construction across cities including Hyderabad and Chennai.

Co-founded in 2020 by Surakshit Soni and Sarvesh Kabra, GaadiMech aims to empower the automotive service industry. The company operates through an online platform and physical service centers, offering express car services, transparent pricing, and genuine parts to deliver a streamlined and reliable vehicle maintenance experience. “Car care should feel like a pit stop, not a full-day chore. With 90 minutes, live tracking, and 100% transparency, we’re rebuilding trust in an unorganized market,” said Surakshit Soni, Co-founder of GaadiMech. The company’s 90-minute Express Car Service combines parallel workflows, real-time tracking, and upfront pricing to create a pit-stop experience for car owners. It plans to scale across India with an asset-light service model. Lead investor AJVC recently announced the final close of its maiden fund, with commitments exceeding Rs 200 crore. Its recent investments include Nuyug, a jewellery brand focused on celebration wear, and Mithila Foods, an FMCG company developing Bihar-based food products.

The round was advised and facilitated by Bestvantage Investments, a boutique investment advisory firm that connects high-growth startups with strategic capital across India and the Middle East. The proceeds will be used to expand manufacturing, scale R&D for AI-powered drone software, and build delivery capacity for large-scale national deployments. Enercomp’s roadmap includes an Rs 8 crore strategic investment plan over the next year to strengthen its IP, product stack, and execution capabilities. Founded in Ahmedabad, Enercomp operates at the intersection of hardware, software, and services. Its integrated offerings span indigenous drone manufacturing, Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS), and a proprietary GIS analytics platform. The firm claims to have developed seven proprietary drone models, including VTOL, fixed-wing, and surveillance variants, which are actively deployed in commercial and government projects. With 70% of revenue driven by product sales, Enercomp counts Tata Projects, Reliance, Mahindra Susten, L&T, and several government agencies among its clients. Its software dashboard is used for real-time, mission-critical data analysis by enterprise and public sector clients. Enercomp claims that it grew from Rs 3.1 crore in FY23 to Rs 5.6 crore in FY24, maintaining profitability. As per the company, it has already logged Rs 4.2 crore in revenue in FY25, with an active order book of over Rs 9 crore. To date, the startup has raised Rs 6.9 crore across previous rounds and seen its valuation jump from Rs 12.5 crore to Rs 60 crore, with the founding team retaining over 80.5% equity, including a 4% ESOP pool.
