Assert AI, a computer vision SAAS company, has raised Rs 30 crore ($4 million) in a funding round led by prominent investors including Ramesh Hariharan (ex-CTO and co-founder of LatentView), Prashant Purker (former MD & CEO of ICICI Venture), Arya.ag (integrated grain commerce platform), and select individuals. The company plans to utilise the funds to bolster its presence in essential markets, enhance research and development efforts, and continue pioneering new advancements in computer vision technology, Assert AI said in a press release. Assert AI has operations in India, the US and the Middle East. Assert AI empowers computers with a pair of eyes that never sleep and a program to process the visual inputs and identify and process things simulating a human vision, sans human error. It helps businesses and organizations automate processes, improve customer experiences, and gain valuable insights into their operations. The company’s has three flagship products – Pratham, Alpha and Falcon. Pratham is a no-code platform for computer vision while Alpha offers clients multiple options to consume and integrate data into their production systems. Its third product Falcon revolutionises warehouse inventory management with real-time tracking and optimisation capabilities. Led by Job Philip, the company claims to have delivered more than 50 applications to large corporates, SMEs and government enterprises.

The proceeds will be used to ramp up product development, customer acquisition, and growth. The firm is working closely with manufacturing giants in automotive and electronics. Founded by Raviteja Chivukula, Jagga Raju Nadimpalli, and Mrutyunjaya Nadiminti, Perceptyne’s products are designed to perform tasks demanding human-like dexterity, such as product assembly & packaging. To accomplish this, the startup is building a vertically integrated full-stack robotics platform centered around AI. Its flagship products, PR-34D and PR-9D, are dual-arm and single-arm robots with integrated computer vision & AI, multi-modal sensing, and highly articulate end-effectors suited for manufacturing/assembly line applications. The proceeds will be used to expand international operations, deepen investments in AI and computer vision, and scale product capabilities. StepOut also plans to expand beyond football into amateur sports and other disciplines over time. Founded by Jeet Karmakar and Sayak Ghosh, StepOut is an AI-powered football performance and intelligence platform focused on player development, match analysis, and scouting. The platform is used across youth, semi-professional, and professional football. Since its last funding round, StepOut claims to have analysed over 25,000 matches, tracked over 150,000 players, and reported 3x year-on-year revenue growth with a 90% customer renewal rate. The startup currently serves 120 clubs, academies, and federations across 23 countries. StepOut’s platform offers tools such as AI-driven match analysis, automated highlights, performance dashboards, live match analytics, and advanced football metrics including xG, xA, PPDA, and player impact scores. It has been deployed across tournaments like the Dream Sports Championship and elite domestic competitions. The startup works with clubs and federations including AFC Ajax, Rayo Vallecano, Bengaluru FC, Hong Kong FC, and the All India Football Federation, and is running pilots with global clubs such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Fulham, and Espanyol.
