Cleantech startup Bambrew has raised Rs 60 crore in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures. The company offers eco-friendly packaging solutions made from natural materials like bamboo, sugarcane, and seaweed. Its products can decompose within 130 days and have already saved over 60,000 tons of single-use plastic and reduced CO2 emissions by more than 125,000 tons. With the new funding, Bambrew plans to expand its primary packaging offerings for the FMCG and food and beverage sectors, enhance manufacturing capabilities, and scale up its team. The investment is seen as a reflection of the increasing demand for sustainable packaging solutions.
