CDPQ’s real estate arm exits India warehousing assets for $29 mn

Canada's Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) is divesting its stake in three warehousing assets in India through its real estate arm, Ivanhoé Cambridge. The properties are being sold to Mumbai-based Macrotech Developers for a total of INR 239.56 crore ($28.67m). Ivanhoé had partnered with Macrotech and US private equity firm Bain Capital in 2022 to develop warehouses and industrial parks in India, with each partner holding a one-third stake in the assets. The deal means Macrotech will now hold almost 70% of the assets, with Bain retaining the remainder.
