Apple is facing various challenges in its business, including government pressure on its closed-ecosystem and payment deals with Google. It is also losing ground in China to Huawei Technologies. Despite these concerns, Apple's stock performance has already declined this year, which may help cushion any negative reaction to their weak second-quarter report. Analysts are expecting declines in iPhone revenue and overall device segment revenue, but modest growth in service revenue. Apple's focus on generative artificial intelligence, which may be unveiled at their developers conference in June, could potentially have a positive impact on sales.
