Amazon has launched a new grocery delivery subscription for Prime members and EBT cardholders in the US. The subscription costs $9.99 per month for Prime users and $4.99 per month for EBT cardholders. Subscribers receive free deliveries for grocery orders over $35 from Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods, and other local grocery and specialty retailers. The subscription offers one-hour delivery windows, unlimited 30-minute pickup, and priority access to recurring reservations. The new offering competes with Walmart Plus and Target's grocery delivery plans, which have similar minimum order limits. Additionally, Amazon is transitioning from its "Just Walk Out" technology to its Dash Cart for checkout purposes.
