A new Microsoft Teams update will now let you really express yourself — but you might need to be careful exactly how you do it

Microsoft Teams is working on an update that will allow users to add video clips and audio snippets in replies to channel posts. Currently available when replying to chat messages, this addition aims to help users express themselves in team channels more effectively. Users will be able to record and attach video clips or audio-only clips to channel posts or replies. The update is expected to roll out in April 2024 and will be available on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS platforms. Microsoft has been introducing various improvements to enhance the messaging experience in Microsoft Teams. This includes the ability to hide general channels and the introduction of a "private line" feature.
