That's what Cred was positioning itself as! 'cReD iS tHe PlAce wHeRe TOp 1% inDiAnS ShOP'. But in reality, it's losses are continuously rising and yeah. also if you ever used it, you know that the number of permissions this app asks for is crazyyy.

While cred finds itself in a pool of losses for as long as i can think of, the game here is not just the product - it most likely, is about DATA. Nearly every person who owns a credit card, has an account on Cred. Now the company’s simple target is to launch multiple products to keep the app fresh and launch products that would make them direct money but the main thing remains Data!
