To tackle the chicken egg issue, we started off just as news app so that we can give people something valuable to consume. After a decent user base we introduced the feed ugc part.

Thanks for responding. I guess my question is the real issue everyone face in creating apps like that. Now as you answered my previous question, can you also tell me about funding? When you guys raised funding. Is this before launching the app or after getting some userbase?
