Koo's founder on ⬇️⬇️ Fastest ways to validate ideas There are many ways to do this today. The older and dumbest method used to be building the product and launching it. Please stop wasting time and effort doing such stuff. Act like the product is ready and start selling the problem and the solution. See if people latch on to it. Show them a figma prototype or a website or a brochure or whatever helps you bring the idea to close-to-life and see how folks react. Find out if they’d pay for it, how much and why. Ask questions and get a better sense about the problem / solution without actually building it by spending months and years of effort and money. It costs almost nothing to create a website with images and text and bring the idea alive as if the product is ready. Just put an email subscription widget for those who are interested. Generate traffic to that site through folks you think you’d like to target. Be it friends, family, facebook / reddit groups, insta / twitter # - whatever is available for free. I believe that an idea can be validated for free and in less than a week. And that’s a lot smarter than trying to build it and spending a year doing that to perfection only to realize that nobody (or very few) want(s) what you’ve built. Talk to people who tried to do this idea before and failed. You’ll find founders of such companies on angellist. Enter keywords to find such folks. You never know. You may find a potential founder with this hack. Talk to investors who funded stuff like this and find out what they think or what they’ve learnt. Usually people are nice and will help out. Don’t worry about the folks who don’t respond or ignore your reach out.
