Leaders and laggards of the AI race: As India makes significant progress, other nations like Germany and Spain are still falling behind

According to NetApp's Cloud Complexity Report, 91% of India-based companies are projected to use at least half of their data to train AI models by 2024. The report highlights India as leading in AI projects, with Singapore following closely behind. However, countries like Germany and Spain are considered laggards in the AI race. The study also reveals that technology companies are at the forefront of AI implementation, while media and entertainment companies have lower adoption rates. Rising IT costs and ensuring data security are major challenges in the AI era, but AI leaders are willing to scale back or allocate resources from other areas to fund AI initiatives.
