Isro says multiple levels of data products generated from recently launched earth observation satellite

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully generated multiple levels of data products from its recently launched earth observation satellite EOS-08. This satellite carries payloads featuring new technology developments in satellite systems. The GNSS-Reflectometry (GNSS-R) instrument on EOS-08 collects signals from Global and Regional Navigation Satellite Systems and measures their power and other signal characteristics. It provides scientific information about regions covered by the receiver, such as soil moisture, surface inundation, and ocean surface wind and wave measurements. The data collected over Sahara Desert, Amazon Rainforest, and the Pacific Ocean has shown promising results, highlighting the potential of this instrument for scientific studies and applications.
