A few weeks ago we launched StudyHelper. We got 0 users. That moment forces you to ask a hard question: Is the product bad, or is the positioning wrong? After talking to students and observing usage patterns, we realized the biggest mistake. We were trying to build a generic AI study tool. Students preparing for serious exams don’t want generic tools. They want systems built specifically for their exam. So we pivoted. StudyHelper is now focused only on AP exams. Instead of broad features, we started building real exam infrastructure: ~1000 past year questions ~4000 revision cards Structured exam-focused learning We’re launching the new version on Tuesday.
