Video Editors : Need Your Advice on Getting Clients & Consistent Work Hi everyone, I’m currently exploring the video editing industry and trying to understand how professional editors build consistent freelance work. I’d really appreciate your insights on a few questions: 1. How do you currently get clients? (Platforms, referrals, cold outreach, etc.) 2. What challenges do you face in getting consistent work? 3. How do you present your portfolio to new clients? (Website, Behance, Google Drive, YouTube, etc.) 4. What do clients usually misunderstand about video editing as a job? 5.
