I kept hitting the same wall: I’d have a solid idea, but turning it into enough video variations for different platforms took way too long. What helped was switching from “edit a video” to “build a repeatable pipeline”. Here’s the lightweight workflow that’s been working for me: Write the core message in one sentence (If I can’t do this, the video won’t be clear no matter how good the visuals are.) Break it into 4–6 beats Hook → context → 1–2 key points → proof/example → close Prepare simple assets A few screenshots, 1–2 images, maybe a short clip — nothing fancy. Generate the first draft fast For the draft stage, I’ve been using https://sodavideo.ai/ to quickly turn the rough structure + assets into a short video, then I refine the best version instead of polishing from scratch. Export variations on purpose 9:16 for Shorts/Reels, 16:9 for YouTube, and one “caption-heavy” version for silent scrolling. The biggest change for me wasn’t quality — it was speed. I can test more ideas, and the data tells me what’s worth polishing. Curious: do you prefer shipping one “perfect” video, or shipping 5 drafts and letting the audience pick the winner?
