Building for idea gu... • 17h
I keep seeing people try to validate startup ideas by posting online: “What do you think of this idea?” At first, it feels useful. You get comments, encouragement, suggestions, even some criticism. But here’s the problem: Most of the people replying are not your users. They’re other founders, builders, or just people scrolling. So what you get is opinions not signals. Advice not behavior. And validation doesn’t come from comments. It comes from what people actually do. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how early-stage founders can test ideas without building products, writing code, or spending money just by running small, scrappy experiments in the real world. I’m curious how others here approach early validation: • Do you rely on conversations? • Landing pages? • Manual workflows? • Something else entirely? Would love to hear what’s actually worked (or failed) for you.
