Most Common Wrong Approach Students immediately: convert speed apply formula start calculating blindly This works sometimes, but it’s slow and error-prone. Correct Way to Think Step 1: What is the actual distance to be covered? Train length + platform length = 180 + 120 = 300 meters Step 2: Convert speed once, cleanly. 54 km/hr = 15 m/s Step 3: Now apply logic, not panic. Time = Distance / Speed = 300 / 15 = 20 seconds
