Free Time Doesn’t Mean Free Project There was a phase where I took projects just because I was free. No strong brief. No clear goal. Just “chal raha hai”. Big mistake. Free time doesn’t mean you should fill it with any work. Some projects don’t move your skill forward. They just keep you busy and tired. After some weeks: Deadlines feel annoying Quality drops You start delaying replies That’s when you realise — being busy is not the same as being productive. Now, if a project doesn’t help my growth, learning, or portfolio, I prefer to stay idle and improve myself instead. Design is not factory work. Energy matters. What do you do when work is slow?
