When I started analysing the Media & Entertainment industry, I expected a simple growth story driven by OTT and digital consumption. What I found instead was a much more layered picture. Yes, the industry is expanding fast. But beneath that growth lies pressure on margins, rising content costs, and a constant fight for attention. Revenue is growing, but monetisation isn’t always keeping pace. Advertising remains cyclical, subscriptions face pricing limits, and hybrid models demand strong execution. What stood out to me most was this: In media, attention creates opportunity, but cash flow decides sustainability. Growth alone doesn’t translate into long-term value unless it’s backed by financial discipline and efficient monetisation. 👉 For deeper insights, financial trends, and company-level analysis, refer to the attached link.
