I’ve seen so many agencies owners complain that people quit right after salary day. And then they come up with a fix Let’s pay on the 15th instead of the 7th. That’s can never be a solution. If someone leaves the moment money hits their account, the problem isn’t payroll timing. But It’s definitely the environment. Most People leave because: Expectations are unclear Communication is poor There’s no feedback loop No growth path Sometimes, not even basic paperwork I know this because I lived it. I left an agency after 1.5 months. 7 offices. Operating since 2021. No offer letter. No documents. No systems. Changing the date won’t fix anything. They’ll just leave on the 15th next time. People are ready to accept lower pay for a good culture. No one stays in chaos for a paycheck. Money isn’t your only lever. If you run an agency, retention starts with clarity, feedback, and structure not salary hacks. Please work on that too :) Will You?
