Yes, idea validation should matter. I think money made founders chase upvotes more than feedback.

Yes. Look at Peerlist. Only thing you might do is that the winners will get direct reach via your posts on your official Social Media platforms, and maybe some discounts in Supabase, etc with some official Medial merch If the budget allows.
