“Startup” — the coolest word in the room, right? A teenager turns founder. Suddenly on media. Everyone clapping. Dream looks sorted. At least… that’s what I used to think. But the more I’ve learned, the more reality hits different: People proudly say: “We raised funding!” “We made X profit!” And somewhere inside me, I’m like… Does that really define success? Because funding ≠ achievement. If skills aren’t solid → the crash is quick. Look at Zoho. Still bootstrapped. No constant headlines. Yet making crores, building globally, and inspiring quiet excellence. Here’s what the startup world doesn’t say loudly: Most Indian startups are still loss-making. It takes courage, consistency, money, trust & skills. And yes… patience + a little luck. So before building a startup, build yourself. Grow your skills. Understand business. Build from strength — not hype. I still dream big. I still want to build something meaningful. But now, with clarity > clout and foundation > fame
