I usually write for people chasing massive goals. But this one’s for the people who feel the need to demotivate them. DISCLAIMER: I’m talking about goals, not dreams. Goals require work. Dreams don’t. I’ve said this before, and I’ll keep saying it for the rest of my life: I have never been criticized, trolled, or demotivated by someone doing better than me. EVER. Not once in my ENTIRE life. It’s always the people who stopped trying that feel threatened when you start trying. Read that again. You’ll call it “being realistic.” You’ll say you’re “protecting them.” But deep down… you know you’re projecting your own limits. And if they do win? If that crazy, oversized, "unreasonable" goal actually works? Boy, you’re in trouble. Because big goals, more often than not, come with big influence. And the person you tried to drag down… now has the leverage YOU DON’T. Demotivating people is a losing bet. It’s a bad investment with GUARANTEED negative returns.
