Not making them talk like humans, just a simple way to sense if they’re scared, happy, stressed, hungry, or just wanting attention. Imagine pointing your phone or a tiny device at a pet or even a street animal and instantly getting a hint about their mood. No drama, no sci-fi — just understanding the basic emotions behind the sounds and body language we miss. We made AI smart enough to write poems, answer questions, and act like a friend on a screen. But we still look at a dog crying and guess. We still see a cat staring and wonder what’s going on in its little head. Maybe the next leap isn’t machines talking like us — it’s learning to listen to the life already around us.
