𝗔 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗽𝗽 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝟱𝟬 𝗟𝗣𝗔+ 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀 !! Knot.dating is an Indian AI-powered matchmaking startup founded by Jasveer Singh and Abhishek Asthana. It focuses on serious, long-term relationships and marriages rather than casual dating. The platform officially launched in June 2025 after a beta phase in March 2025. Uses conversational AI to assess personality, emotions, and compatibility instead of traditional swiping or forms. All profiles are verified using facial recognition and government ID to ensure authenticity. Targets working professionals, with a minimum annual income of ₹50 lakh required for men in private sectors, while no income bar is set for women. The app maintains a higher ratio of women (around 70%) to men (around 30%), and most paying users are women. Achieved operational profitability within six months of its public launch. Originated as a pivot from the earlier social app “Hood.” Funded by prominent investors including 3one4 Capital and founders of Paytm, OYO, CRED, BharatPe, and BookMyShow. Operates on a subscription-based model focusing on premium, verified, and high-intent users. Combines AI-driven matchmaking with optional human matchmaker support for better pairing. Positioned as India’s first AI-powered premium matchmaking platform for genuine relationships.
