Yet, government involvement is still minimal — innovation is far ahead of regulation. History tells us what happens when progress outpaces policy. During the Industrial Revolution, machines boosted production, but people lost jobs faster than new roles appeared. There were tools, but no buyers — growth without balance. If we don’t prepare, AI could repeat that cycle: high efficiency, low inclusion.
