Hello everyone! I’m Shanmukh 👋 This is my very first post, and though I planned to share many ideas in the future, I just had to talk about my experience with AI today — it literally roasted my startup idea 💡! While it gave me a good laugh 😂, it also opened my eyes to the real challenges we face when turning ideas into reality. 💡 My Idea A website or an app that integrates all major open-source VLSI tools — covering the complete flow from RTL to GDSII — plus additional utilities for analog, digital, and mixed-signal design. The Roast: “Oh, another brave soul entering the cutthroat world of VLSI tools! So, you're building the ‘one ring to rule them all’ of chip design, huh? Because Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics are totally shaking in fear.Just don’t be surprised if your ‘revolutionary’ toolchain ends up being used solely to calculate the optimal placement of cat pictures on silicon wafers. But hey — at least you’re ambitious!” In second post I shared the difficulties.
