Over the past few weeks, I’ve spoken with neurologists, physiotherapists, and patients—ranging from mild neurological cases to severe post-stroke and paralysis conditions. What I found was striking: both doctors and patients are limited by the current rehabilitation systems. Doctors often hesitate to take post-stroke or paralysis cases because traditional rehab shows minimal recovery, leaving them feeling helpless despite their best efforts. Patients, on the other hand, lose confidence as exercises become repetitive, exhausting, and uninspiring. Many give up—not because they don’t want to heal, but because they stop believing they can. When we introduced Axion Gen1, our BCI-powered VR neurorehabilitation system, everything changed. 30+ patients wanted to try it, 10+ doctors called it revolutionary, and we’ve now secured two pilot sites. For the first time, doctors and patients share the same hope: that recovery can be engaging, motivating, and real.
