Dear CEO, you called Arattai a WhatsApp clone, but let’s not forget: in the land of startups, everyone begins in the great Xerox shop. We all kick off with Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V—copy-paste is our cultural rite of passage. The real fun starts with Ctrl+I—innovation. You digitized the ledger, someone else sends credit reminders via SMS—everyone’s racing to turn their copy into an original. Ultimately, the purpose is to drape Indian traditions with a tech veil and proudly present them to the world. Today’s imitation could become tomorrow’s inspiration. So don’t worry—whatever becomes ours is, by definition, original. And if everything seems a copy, perhaps someday our copy will set the global benchmark. Copying, after all, is also a form of creativity—what matters is not who copied whom, but who transformed their copy into a masterpiece.
