𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗭'𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟲 Sciastra: Founded in 2021 by Vivek Dwivedi and Akhil Tripathi, both science students from NISER Bhubaneswar. Started as a small YouTube channel during the COVID-19 lockdown and grew into a full-fledged ed-tech platform. Built with the vision to encourage students to think like scientists rather than just prepare for exams. Expanded into a network of more than 60 mentors from top institutes like Harvard, Oxford, IISc, IISERs, and Max Planck. Guided over 170,000 students with more than 2,000 top selections including AIR 1, 3, 4, and 5 in IISc, IISERs, and NISER. Built a strong community of more than 250,000 active learners. Generated revenue of around ₹3 crores through online courses and mentorship programs. Received awards including the Global Student Entrepreneurship Award and recognition among the top 30 startups in India. Officially incorporated as SciAstra Education Private Limited in December 2021 with headquarters in Noida. Some students felt the platform gradually leaned more toward exam coaching compared to its initial vision of nurturing research culture. Follow for more such insights.
