Being Gujarati, business has always been in my blood. In my third year of college, I came up with a startup idea and shared it with my friends, who were equally excited to work on it. We applied to an incubation center in Ahmedabad that supports startups and provides seed funding of up to 10 lakhs. The process had three pitching rounds, and the final one was in front of IAS officers and government dignitaries. Out of nearly 800 startups, only 100 were selected and we were one of them. It was a proud moment when we got the news last January. Since then, I’ve been developing our product, which will be ready to launch by December. In my final year, I was also selected as a Junior Engineer at Flipkart, but I chose to follow my passion and build my own startup journey.
