Just this reel and my mind is really blown🤯, This founder is building World's first datacenter powered by DNA. The problem she found: - Data centers eat up massive power and space. - Frequent hardware upgrades pile on the e-waste. - Sky high OPEX makes it unsustainable. She's looking DNA as a storage medium for digital data as the molecule DNA offers extremely space and energy efficient and can last for long time. So usually, size of data centers is equals to the size of football ground and if we could store data in DNA then, we can put it on our hand. It could be 70% cheaper in terms of total cost of ownership of data. Well, total data center market is claimed to be $260 billion by her. This concept is complex sounds crazy. You all should watch this reel also, https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMx1ZuDTiIl/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Just imagine using organic molecules as machines to store our digital data😶.
