Most people think business begins with a logo, a name, or a website. But I have realized that it starts with this: Creating something people are willing to pay for. Simple as that. Every successful business, whether global or just getting started, begins with value. That could be: A product that solves a specific problem, like Band-Aid, A service that saves someone time, like Uber, An experience that people remember and recommend, like the Apple Store. I used to think I needed credentials. A catchy brand. Maybe even an MBA. But when I helped a friend solve a small problem with what I had learned… I managed to create something of value, which made his life a little better. The reward? I was paid fully, and he was genuinely happy. That was the proof I needed. You just need empathy, curiosity, and the courage to solve something small, well.
