A VERY NASTY APP STORE OPTIMISATION HACK i saw on X recently, it’s to run ads of your app on your competitors brand/app name. and always bid on your own app brand name, or else when your app goes viral, people will use this ASO technique to run ads on your brand name /keywords. And secondly set low CPT i.e cost per tap, to prevent overspending on users who are going to find you anyway. The purpose is to defend your brand space, if you don’t run ads on your own brand name, competitors can do so and potentially show their app above yours in search results, stealing users looking specifically for you
