I’m Nitesh from Guwahati, 20 years old, currently in my 2nd year of college. For the past few years, I’ve been helping part-time at my father’s wholesale grocery shop — a business we built steadily over the years. It’s taught me customer management, patience, and market realities. But here’s the twist — in my extended family, one cousin runs a large-scale undergarment manufacturing business with two factories (Tripura & Bihar) and is still expanding. He was the one who originally brought my parents to this city and even helped set up our shop. Watching his journey has lit a fire in me — I want to step into manufacturing too, particularly in garments/textiles. But here’s the challenge: I have zero technical knowledge about manufacturing. My cousin is too busy to mentor me. The grocery business is stable but growth has slowed with online disruption. I don’t want to blindly invest — I want to learn the right way. I want advice from you guys
