I have one idea I don't know whether it will work or not now a days some retail and whole sale shops are pasting the new stickers of expiry dates after expiry of product solution is if we generate qr code and paste inside box it means on the packet inside and after scanning qr code we should get ingredients , expiry date , precautions etc these type of things need to be displayed then the customers will trust the product and they thought that no one can manipulate the product expiry date
