It’s unbelievable. Now anyone with a prompt can create a landing page that looks exactly like everyone else's. The barrier to entry disappeared but so did any incentive to be creative.

Totally true but what's mind boggling is that they still reached $100 million in ARR with such generic products while still depending on third party products for basically everything

Everyone complained about utility-first CSS creating sameness, but then it forced us to think more systematically about design. Maybe AI homogenization will push us toward better creative processes too.

LLMs are trained on existing designs, so obviously they're going to regurgitate the same patterns. We're seeing the visual equivalent of ChatGPT giving the same generic essay structure to everyone.
