Would You Rather Pay Per Use for Tools You Only Need Occasionally Than Subscribe Monthly? Hey everyone, I 'm working on early market research for an idea and would love your feedback. I've often run into situations where I needed to use a digital tool (like a PDF editor, resume builder, image editor, or AI writing tool) just once -- but most services lock essential features behind "high priced" monthly or yearly subscription. Paying "₹500 - ₹2000/monthly (or $10 - $ 25)" for occasional use felt unreasonable. Idea: A pay-per-use platform where you can access services like PDF tools, resume builders, AI productivity tools, and design utilities without subscribing. you'd see a clear one-time credit cost to use a service (or unlock a premium feature), get redirected to the original service provider's website, and pay only when you need it. The Platform would: Let service providers keep their own free/ad-supported/subscription model running independently. Offer occasional users a clean pay-per-use alternative at a fair per-use rate. List trusted tools with transparent pricing, no hidden upsells or surprise paywalls. Optional: Let service providers offer ad-free or enhanced one-time use for small fee. I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts on: Would you personally use something like this? Do you think service providers would support a parallel pay-per-use option? What do you see as the biggest pros or cons for both users and companies? Would this reduce misuse (like creating multiple free accounts) and improve overall experience? Would it increase revenue for service providers or risk cannibalizing subscription? Bonus: If you've ever felt annoyed getting trapped into monthly subscription for a one-time task, tell me your story -- curious how common this frustration is. Appreciate any honest feedback or advice you're willing to share 😊.

Hello Guys I have observed that a monthly or yearly subscription is useless as people rarely utilise the service to that extent, just take an example of Netflix monthly subscription where a user pay to watch for whole month but uses only on Saturday
