Naa I don't think so. He is just diversifying into different sectors and that's a very common business strategy. All companies do that. Also he have too diversified into existing businesses only rather than in some very technical/next big thing level

No all, companies DO expand to completely new sectors too. It's very common. Leave Tata/Reliance, even companies like Nirma and all did that.
